The ruling body of the Knights of Equity is known as the Supreme Council.. The Council is made up of all elected supreme officers. The council has the power to make rules and regulations in conformity with the constitution of the organization. They meet twice yearly, at the national convention and at a mini convention. Recent major issues include: Immigration, Mcbride Principles, right to life, and a just and peaceful solution to the issues that divide Ireland. Communication between the Supreme Council and the local courts has always been an important aim of the organization. The current Supreme Sir Knight is Mike Culhane from Court Nine, Pittsburgh.
