DETROIT’S 50TH ST PATRICK’S PARADE

This years parade should be truly special, our own Patrick O’Hara is the Grand Marshal, this year is Detroit’s 50^TH St. Patrick’s Parade and the parade is the day before St. Patrick’s Day. The Knights of Equity are one of only a handful of organizations that have participated in all 50 Detroit St. Patrick’s Parades. The theme of this years’ parade is “Honoring our Past…Marching into our Future”, Court 6 will be in the parade’s 6^th division. Court 6 takes great pride in our usually large marching contingent – please come join us pass out balloons, candy & various other give aways.

DUES REPORT

At our last meeting of Court 6, three new members where initiated into the Knights of Equity Tim McKeown & Sean Dillon were sponsored by Jerry McKeown, Matt Kelly was sponsored by his Uncle, Dan Schemanske. Welcome Tim, Sean & Matt!!!

REST IN PEACE

Recently Court 6 was notified that a former member of Court 6, Pete Costigan passed away. Pete was a cabinet maker & every year before our annual super bowl party, Pete would donate or build something for the old Hall on Dix, Pete was very generous with his donations & time, Pete will be missed – REST IN PEACE
