They will be able to talk to the children of Transit Middle School on a frequent basis and have the opportunity to learn about each other and our cultures and heritage. We are very proud to be able to help make this happen with special thanks to our DE President and Transit Middle School Vice Principal Mary Holzerland for spearheading this project. In our prayers, please remember: Anne McMahon, Maureen Carney, Maureen Fecio, Jennifer Robillard and JoAnne Freeman. Also remember: the deceased DE Mary Redmond, mother of DE Carol Eagan and DE Anna Dickman; long time KE member Seamus Donnelly, brother of DE Anne McGuirk and also all who perished on Continental Flight 3407 and their families. May they rest in peace. If you know of a member who needs a bit of cheer, call Sunshine Chairperson Del Lillis at 823-2363. Calendar Luncheon News We are putting together the beautiful theme baskets that will be raffled at the Calendar Luncheon on Saturday, May 7th. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and gives us the great opportunity to continue making our annual donations to organizations, soup kitchens, and those in need especially during these difficult times. If you would like to attend the luncheon and be a guest at one of the beautifully decorated tables, contact Bonnie. Tickets are only $10. DUES FOR 2009 ARE NOW PAST DUE...
