The initiation of new members will take place prior to the June 18the meeting in a beautiful candlelit ceremony. An invitation will be sent to all members who joined the Daughters of Erin since last June. If you are a member and have never experienced this inspiring ceremony, please call Rosemary Davis at 648-1589. A short meeting will follow the initiation after which we will enjoy a delicious catered buffet supper from Carmen's Catering. We welcome the following new members to The Daughters of Erin: Kimberly Bailey, Kathleen Caprio, Dorothy Decker, Renee M. Leiser, Kathleen McDonald Shanahan, Eileen Leahy Stack and Denise M. Walter.

National Convention is right around the corner...the 108th Knights of Equity and Daughters of Erin National Convention is now only 4 months away. A meeting was held to go over the plans and get committees together, and we are happy to report we have many volunteers, and could always use more. We will have another meeting on Monday July 7th, 2008 at 6:30 PM in the Knights Room of the Buffalo Irish Center. We welcome all our members and your ideas. If you have any questions, please call Ellen Kuehlewind at 648-5994 or Meme Reidy at 675-7046.
