Detroit Court #6 Congratulations to Vice President Katie Murphy and her husband on the birth of their fifth child, Conor Thomas, born February 27th! Congratulations to Natalie Molnar and her husband on the birth of their third child, Joseph Dennis, on March 20th. Natalie is the daughter of Past President, Dianne Dobson. Congratulations go out to member Jamie Colleen Walker who finished her nursing degree on March 14th. She has accepted a position in the Cardiac Care Specialist Unit at Geneses Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. She will graduate with honors in the June 2008 nursing class from Baker College. She is the daughter of Past President Marilyn Chirilut. Our last congrats go out to our Past President, Judy Martin, who graduated with honors from Madonna University on May 4th with a BS in Business Administration! What an awesome and busy group we have! Also, welcome to our two new members, Cheryl McInerney and Megan Riordan! Good & Welfare We are happy to report that our President JoAnne Freeman is back from Maryland and was able to attend our May 13th meeting. We were all so happy to see her. She wants to thank everyone for their prayers , cards, phone calls, and visits. She will keep us posted on her progress over the summer and please keep her in your prayers. National Convention -- Buffalo, NY -- October 9-11 Please remember to make your hotel reservations by August 22nd through the Knights of Equity, Ct. 5 to save money on the hotel tax. Also, if you plan to attend the Irish Classical Theatre Show "Star Quality", your reservations and money are due by June 28th to National President, Ellen Kuehlewind. Please keep in mind that our Knights are offering a bus to and from the convention. If you plan on attending and would like to reserve a seat on the bus, please call WSK Dan MacDonald at 248.477.9454 ASAP. Hope to see you there!
