Adopted at the Knights of Equity National Assembly, April 23, 2005

The National Assembly of the Knights of Equity:

SEEING that Jesus established the Church on St. Peter to whom he said, "You are Peter and on this rock I will build my Church (Matthew 16:18)";

AND seeing that Jesus handed over to Peter at that time the keys to the kingdom (Matthew 16:19);

AND seeing that those keys have now been handed over to the 264th Successor to Peter, Pope Benedict XVI, to whom we extend our love and prayers as our new Holy Father;

AND calling upon the Holy Spirit to guide and protect him as he leads the Lord's flock;

The Knights of Equity hereby resolve that special prayers will be said by both its local courts and National organization on behalf of Pope Benedict XVI, so that he may produce fruits that renew the Church and draw all men and women to Jesus Christ.
